Everything synk.trade shows about a person comes from filings they were legally required to make. The parts of this policy worth reading are what happens when you use the site, the extension or the bot — which is set out in full below, including the three places something does leave your browser.

The browser extension

The extension declares no storage permission and keeps nothing. It has access to exactly two hosts: synk.trade, and X itself.

WHILE BROWSING
Nothing is sent. The extension adds a button to the profile page and then waits. It does not look profiles up as you scroll, which is what most extensions of this shape do.
WHEN YOU PRESS IT
The displayed name and handle of that profile are sent to synk.trade, to find out whether that person files disclosures and to fetch their record. Nothing else is included.
WHEN YOU PRICE A TRADE
A ticker symbol and an amount of ETH are sent, to get a quote. Your wallet address is not included.
NEVER
Browsing history, posts, timelines, messages, cookies, form contents, other tabs, or anything from any site other than the X profile you acted on.
What the website collects
IP ADDRESS
Kept briefly as a counter, to rate-limit abuse. It is not linked to anything else you do, not used to build a profile, and the counters expire on their own within 48 hours.
QUESTIONS YOU TYPE
If you ask a question about a figure, that question and that figure's public filing data are sent to Anthropic, which generates the answer. Treat it as you would any chat box: do not type anything you would not want to leave your machine.
AUTO-COPY SUBSCRIPTIONS
If you set up auto-copy, your wallet address, which figure you are following and the caps you set are stored — otherwise the standing order could not be executed. Cancelling removes it.
COPY-TRADE HISTORY
The record of trades you made through the site stays in your own browser's local storage. It is never sent to us.
SERVER LOGS
Our host records ordinary request logs, as every web host does.
Wallets and trading

Private keys and seed phrases never reach the extension, the website or our servers, and could not — signing happens in your own wallet.

Transaction data is built locally, in the extension or in the page, rather than handed over ready-made by a server. Nothing is ever submitted without you approving it in your wallet.

Transactions you do approve are recorded on a public blockchain. That is inherent to how a chain works, is outside our control, and is permanent.

The X bot

@synkdottrade only ever sees public posts that mention it. It records which mentions it has already answered, so that it never replies twice, and it does not build a profile of who asked what.

Who else sees any of this
ANTHROPIC
Generates the answers for typed questions. Receives the question and the public filing data it is about.
HOSTING & STORAGE
Our hosting and database providers process data on our behalf, under their own terms, to run the service.
NOBODY ELSE
No advertisers, no data brokers, no analytics vendors. Nothing is sold.
What we never do

Sell or rent your data. Serve ads. Set tracking cookies. Follow you across other sites. Use anything collected here to assess creditworthiness or for lending. Use it for any purpose unrelated to showing disclosure records and executing trades you asked for.

Your choices
THE EXTENSION
Do not press the button and nothing is sent. Uninstalling removes it entirely; there is nothing stored to clear.
AUTO-COPY
Cancel a subscription and its record is removed.
LOCAL HISTORY
Clearing your browser's site data clears the copy-trade history held there.
REQUESTS
Write to us to ask what is held about you, or to have it deleted.
Children

This is a financial tool and is not directed at children. Do not use it if you are under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes in substance, the date below changes with it. Continuing to use synk.trade after that means accepting the revision.
